Samaraneftegaz - Rosneft Office Building
The construction project of the central office of Samaraneftegaz was one of the first realized construction projects of the development of new business areas of Samara and areas adjacent to the Volga River.
The 17-storey office building 75 meters height accommodates offices of "Class A" supposed for 630 working places at the total area of 13,500 square meters.
Samaraneftegaz central oddice building is a part of a planned large business complex which will be erected on the banks of the Volga River. This mostly explains the architecture and design of the project. Tower of irregular shape in the form of sails with facades of glass and green marble was built in the area of the former industrial zone on the quay of Samara in the shortest terms. Construction of the facility was led by the Turkish Koray Group of Companies. Construction works began in September 2003 and ended within 14 months only.
This is a high comparing with the traditional buildings of Samara construction consists of two towers, which are connected with each other in the last two floors. It is considered one of places of attractions of Samara. Apart the office premises the building has several conference rooms, cafeteria, recreation rooms, open office space and underground parking.
Varicool heating and cooling panels were installed to the meeting room's ceiling. The new hydronic system replaced the old fan coil unit system. Varicool system is a radiant heating and cooling system. The panels do not heat or cool the indoor air directly but the surfaces what radiant covers.
