Uponor wins contracts in Ohio, USA

A significant supply contract was signed in Ohio, where the plan is to build 50
to 100 public schools over the next three years, using Uponor PEX plumbing.
Augmenting Uponor's presence in Ohio is a recent partnership with M/I Homes, a
company ranked as one of the top builders in the U.S. Effective July 1, all M/I
homes will feature Uponor PEX in lieu of CPVC in all house lines. This
conversion is significant not only for their volume, but also their influence
in a market dominated by CPVC for decades.

The partnership with M/I Homes, with headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, will
deliver immediate results in the Ohio market beginning in July 2008. In
addition, this partnership paves the way for the potential addition of new
distributors in Ohio as well as the displacement of competitive lines as
installers on these specific projects will begin installing Uponor in other
homes and commercial buildings.

The annual value of the above contracts is estimated at 2 million US dollars.
